Hurmich and Weave Ear Climbers are 22k gold earrings, the texture of which was created using delicate hand woven khaddar fabric and Hurmich embroidery. It has been designed and sculpted by Sundus Talpur and cast in 22k gold.

The texture of this piece was achieved using hand embroidery commissioned to Benazir of Umerkot, Sindh, and the khaddar was handwoven and purchased from Karamullah of Hala in Sindh Pakistan.

Each of these pieces are handmade making each a one off and unique in its kind, causing the weight to differ slightly with each production

Khaddar is a Hand woven cotton textile made on a hand loom (khaadi). Khaddar carries a lot of historic value for South Asia, some of the earliest source of cot- ton was grown and woven into cloth in India, Pakistan and Eastern Africa dated back in 5000BC.

Hurmich is a form of embroidery significant to the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan in Pakistan. Its a crisscross style interlaced hand embroidery, it is mostly geometrical in form.
